Hello!

Image
These are name tag stickers specifically used for classroom or lectures as a way of recognition in a meeting or any type of group setting. Also they have often been used by graffiti artists to stick on lampposts and other places like this one found on a bridge. There are more of these ones in and around the city at the moment. When I lived in London I often came across these and have one or two I managed to prize off.

Collecting cards

Image
It was raining the day I found these so one of them was somewhat damaged. Both little cards most likely fell out of a child's pocket or their badly packed rucksack. The lager of the two is a trading card so it might have been an item that no one wanted to swap as sometimes you get one that annoyingly keeps cropping up more frequently for some reason. The smallest of the two cards comes from a Guess Who board game; Jordan is a baseball player. Now why a child is carrying this might be a number of reasons; such as when it is raining schools make their playgrounds out of bounds and turn lunch hour into wet play where they can be kept occupied with board games for example. Perhaps the card was being deliberately withheld by one of the players and forgot to return it. Maybe they even liked Jordan as they collect baseball players.

In the pink

Image
A lovely pink pare of child's sunglasses. These soon went after returning them as they were in very good condition; whether they went to their rightful owner one will never know!

Field mouse

Image
Poor mouse; you can see that a cat’s been at him as his tails been nibbled. Although I didn’t find it outside I suspect that our cat Merlot caught him as a thankful gift for feeding him. Although he's never done this before and there’s no way this could have climbed his way into the house via that cat flap. However there’s also another cat belonging to a neighbour called Lucky, he’s often pinching Merlot’s food; we’ve chased Lucky out before now if we happen to find him munching away. Perhaps Lucky feels obliged to offer something in return hoping we won’t be so ready to chase him out in the future; who knows what cunning little cat’s dream up in order to get hold of some grub that doesn't belong to them.

Smart watch

Image
This watch sadly de-funked so I popped it back again. It’ probably because it’s been left out in the cold and rain for too long.

debit card

Image
This is the second debit card find so I thought I would record this as proof and of course removing the identity of the recipient . This one was found in a card park by the pay machine; should be more careful. I contacted the banks lost and found where they immediately cancelled the card.

Kiwi fruit vape

Image
Yet another vaping stick. This ones not so attractive but they certainly go for fruity flavours. Sometimes when you pass someone vaping in the street it’s a rather pleasant aroma. There’s more of this addiction now as opposed to the classic cigarette and when a friend of mine asked if I minded them smoking I found the smell very pleasant unlike in the past. Back then as so many people smoked it became intoxicating especially before they banned it on buses and in pubs so even the occasional person lighting up became too much to bare.

Classroom learning chart

Image
Some of the things that children are learning in school are featured in this A4 find.

Disney Princess Latina

Image
This extremely  tiny plastic gem with an image of Latina one of many Disney princesses probably came unstuck from a child's bag or had got caught in something and come off.

Florescent green hat

Image
There as been many a time I’ve found hats, scarves and gloves. It frequently happens around this time of the year as days start off cold progressing to lots of warm sunshine so by the time it’s home time; children don’t realise that the extra layer of morning warmth is not needed by three thirty so off it comes and deposited here and there on gate posts, paths and many other places besides; just like this one.

Eyelash Curling Tongs

Image
Found this makeup accessory for people who want to look glamorous with fake eyelashes with these gorgeous pink curling tongs. I’ll put these back as I’m not that type of person; I don’t even wear make up – such a waste of time!

Innersloth

Image
Found this colourful keyring character in the college. It looks like a typical student item that they attach to their rucksacks. As usual it’s broken off again. Funnily I think it resembles a student with its ruck sack and beanie hat; except for it’s weird alien like form. The keyring is a piece of merchandise from the computer game Among Us invented by the American games company Innersloth. The game’s set in on a spaceship where the crew are set various tasks at the same time watching out for the enemy that walk among them until they

Tiny Tukkins Bunny

Image
This fury bunny is very dirty and obviously seen better days and was found slung in the road. It’s been dirty for sometime too but you never know some child might be missing this ugly doll so I popped it back on the school gates in a plastic bag as it’s been raining a lot recently. On the label I find it’s come from the American toy range Tiny Tukkins made by the Beverley Hills Teddy Bear company. To find more visit www.PLUSH.com I visited the website and found the bunny and thought it rather sad as she has a baby brother and she’s known as the big sister of the two, belonging to the Bunnikins family. Lets hope her baby brother hasn’t come to a sorry ending too and he’s tucked up nice and warm inside someone's home and is still loved by it owner. Have a look at their promotional video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIi91iQD_ls&ab_channel=Lulu%E2%80%99sToyRevue

Lanzarote

Image
Recently I came across this fridge magnet belong to a couples personal horde which was being taken away as rubbish which I recorded back in 2021. There were many items including love letters, photos and tickets. A box of mementoes and sadly the couple must have broken up during Covid. All I have left is their fridge magnet a memory of a visit to Lanzarote. Many couples broke up during Covid as they could not bare being locked up together amongst other problems. I did not feel it was right to keep their memories as it was too personal and sad.

Fake wood building brick

Image
Part of a construction building toy made of fake wooden plastic. These days more people are buying wooden toys but sadly there are so many toys still being made of this man-made substance we’ve come to rely on so much.

Black Biro

Image
A dull but useful find as this pen has not run out of ink yet. I’m still using the last pen find from October 2021 a BIC sky blue Biro.
