This
beautiful hand knitted neck scarf can be fastened with a button and
looks not dissimilar to one of those ruffs people wore during the
reign of Elizabeth I in the 16th Century.
This is possibly the early signs of growing up and becoming more interested in other interests like boyfriends and music as witnessed in this discarded find. Or perhaps simply innocently dropped by a parent as they rifle though their belongs trying to find their daughters, named Florence and Charlotte in this case, refreshments while out walking. Finds can reveal more then just a dropped item sometimes. Yes; these were returned to the local library.
