We’ve had a great summer holiday and now we’re back home shopping...

Someone's left evidence of their summer holiday abroad in Turkey; a luggage strap from Parkim Ayaz Hotel.

Looking online it looks and sounds quite simply glorious. Sun soaked with deep blue clouds etc. I’ll let this satisfied costumer continue: “... the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. the food is satisfying, the place is huge and comfy. the views are amazing and the rooms are well- and so on; you get the picture!

  Recently I came across this fridge magnet belong to a couples personal horde which was being taken away as rubbish which I recorded back in 2021. There were many items including love letters, photos and tickets. A box of mementoes and sadly the couple must have broken up during Covid. All I have left is their fridge magnet a memory of a visit to Lanzarote. Many couples broke up during Covid as they could not bare being locked up together amongst other problems. I did not feel it was right to keep their memories as it was too personal and sad.

‘ L aughing G as’ canisters found in city Found two of these metal bottle shaped canisters not far from the city. They’re laughing gas or hippy crack as they contain nitrous oxide. If inhaled could be fatal. They’re meant to be used by the medical profession to numb the pain of patients. Artists Gilbert and George’s exhibition in London 2014 bought these to my attention as they feature a lot round where they live in Whitechapel, East London.
