It’s common for me to find the odd bit of money, accidentally dropped by a shopper; this was found tucked out of view not far from the tills at the local Tesco. When I find money of any value I pop it into a pot; the reason being is that it belongs to the streets like the homeless people.

The next day I spent some of my find by buying a strawberry milk shape from McDonald’s for a homeless person in the city.

  Recently I came across this fridge magnet belong to a couples personal horde which was being taken away as rubbish which I recorded back in 2021. There were many items including love letters, photos and tickets. A box of mementoes and sadly the couple must have broken up during Covid. All I have left is their fridge magnet a memory of a visit to Lanzarote. Many couples broke up during Covid as they could not bare being locked up together amongst other problems. I did not feel it was right to keep their memories as it was too personal and sad.

‘ L aughing G as’ canisters found in city Found two of these metal bottle shaped canisters not far from the city. They’re laughing gas or hippy crack as they contain nitrous oxide. If inhaled could be fatal. They’re meant to be used by the medical profession to numb the pain of patients. Artists Gilbert and George’s exhibition in London 2014 bought these to my attention as they feature a lot round where they live in Whitechapel, East London.
