This toy contains one of those poppers (look back and you’ll find this little fidgeting gadget popping plaything, which explains how they work) a rubbishy type toy so why do Ferrero, chocolatiers, the makers of this product, produce them? Toy inside a chocolate; it’s a bonus isn’t it; you don’t just get the edible treat but a toy too.

  Another tie, this one’s been personalised with a name tag. 

This pink pig, if squeezed, will make a horrible honking noise which is a delight for any energetic dog but also a great source of enjoyment for it’s owner as pooch scurries around after it’s squeaky play mate.    

A sweet furry giraffe perched on railing waiting patiently to be picked up by it’s owner. Who incidentally never comes as after a couple of days I decided to take him home with me. Now he sits in my inbox of finds waiting to be photographed in amongst other lost things. Then he’ll be release back onto the streets.

  This posters mocking our obsession with fitness combined with laziness. That said it was not long ago that people never bothered disposing of their dogs waste, they’d just let their pooch do it where ever they wanted unless you were more of a considerate person and even then you’d see it on the sides of pavements. In some cases you’d smell it too. It’s been some years since I stepped in some dog muck. Worse still when I was a child I’d been rolling down a bank at school and had come home with foul smelling dog filth in my hair; poor mum had to wash it all out. Sensibly in this case it’s all down to health and safety these days, so people are fined heavily if they’re allowed their pet to do it’s business in the street. There are now specially designated bins and bags and that take care of all that these days. Now that’s progress.

  Auugh, this little strange object was unearthed by workman in our garden. It must have been accidentally abandoned by my brother just as he was being called in for tea, back in the 1970’s, or in from the coming rain or finding another distraction like a friend coming round to play. I’ve since popped it back, probably to be found again in years to come by another relative, perhaps my brother’s grand child or even great grand child wandering what it is they’ve found. It’s embossed product details reveal it’s been made in Hong Kong,1973. This country was where most our child hood toys were made; cheap labour I’m guessing.

This KFC hat was found abandoned not far from it’s fast food chain outlet, Ken Tukey Fried chicken. Now this could mean lead into a few possible scenarios; number one, the resipiscent dropped it by accident on his way home from a busy day frying food or, number two, they’ve lost their job after a dispute at work or, number three, they’ve handed in their notice as they’re sick of the zero working hours, or number four, has moved onto better employment.

This rat has been seen around our yard for the past two weeks. Amazingly I found him flattened in the shared drive way. I’ve also spotted them along one of my regular walks too. They scurry along nipping into near by bushes when anyone comes along down the path. Yes it’s been exceptionally hot this year; a record high apparently.
