Happy New Year

Image
I found this piece of paper outside a school dates today. Christmas is over and it’s now start of a new term. Here you can witness first hand the very early signs of a juniors handling of basic maths. When you need more fingers then draw circles instead. All before gaining the skills of working out the answers in your head; but if you have a calculator then – that’s cheating!

chocolate treat

The left over crumbs of Christmas celebrations found in shopping precinct.

Plastic toys

These two were found together outside the local library. Interestingly they are both the same colour.

On the look out

Image
This miniature soldier is looking through the window with binoculars poised; he’s probably been wounded as there is a stain of I suspect blood on him so he’s probably looking for help. Was that the aim of the student who placed him there as it was found in the grounds of a college; maybe he’s part of a student project.

Drug packet

Image
Found another one of these cute little packets but what’s inside is not so attractive. It has the potential of turning you into a monster if it contains a drug like ketamine?

Happy Birthday!

Image
A personal special day announcement. Most likely the school have a ready supply of these to give to the children on their birthdays. I wonder if they go so far as supplying a birthday treat at some point during the day such as a little cup cake adorned with a little lit candle for them to blow out. Further still such as some fee paying establishment a party would be laid on but at this state run school like these along this road it’s going a bit far unless you have a generous parent and teacher association that puts money aside for such occasions.

What is it?

Image
This time there are no hidden clues as to what this might be, such as a serial number or company details etc. As it’s brightly coloured it might well be a part belonging to a now de-funked toy.

Flattened Hedgehog

Image
Another dead hedgehog found limp, lifeless and forgotten. Poor thing had been flattened in the road as it stood no chance from passing cars.

Kinder Surprise joins forces with Harry Potter

Image
Kids just love Harry Potter so Kinder Surprise, that lovable chocolate egg that surrounds the plastic toy within side has a collectable set for you to enjoy; unless you’re like me, on the hand and happen to come across one that’s been dropped in the street. This one’s Professor McDGonagoll. If you want an easy alternative and have a bit of disposable cash then you can pop over to an online shop such as eBay where someone’s done all the hard work for you having collected the lot so that you can simply type in your payment details and patiently wait until they arrive within the post.

Sophie

Sophie ’s growing up and out of her old satchel charms as they fall off and probably replaced with ever more eye catching ones.
