Happy New Year

I found this piece of paper outside a school dates today. Christmas is over and it’s now start of a new term. Here you can witness first hand the very early signs of a juniors handling of basic maths.

When you need more fingers then draw circles instead. All before gaining the skills of working out the answers in your head; but if you have a calculator then – that’s cheating!
